The wife of Indian cricketer MS Dhoni has taken her first-ever ticket to the country after she was spotted arriving at a Mumbai airport.
In a tweet, Ms Dhoni’s wife, Ankit, posted a picture of herself and her husband, both wearing a blue and white Nehru-Gandhi cap.
“Today I landed at the airport to go to India.
#KanbanIndia,” she wrote.”
I am thrilled to see my family and friends at the ground for the first time,” she added.
Ms Dhoni had been due to fly to India for a series against Sri Lanka on Wednesday night, but was forced to cancel after he was found to have been in breach of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s anti-doping rules.
Mr Dhoni, who is on a four-match suspension, has been given a medical clearance by the Indian Cricket Board (ICB) to play, but his wife has not.AAP
